They will be reminiscing about their favorite holiday movies and giving us a peek at how they do what they do.

A big part of the Christmas Giveaway are the holiday recipes. What better way to enjoy the holiday season than with some old favorites and a few new desserts and dishes. Our shops are sharing their favorites and we invite you to do the same. You can submit your own recipe to earn 10 extra entries and have it posted on the blog for everyone to enjoy. See details below.

Every Friday at the Laughing Vixen Lounge Blog is Fear Friday. Fear Fridays are a celebration of all films spooky. During December they will all have a Christmas theme. A special treat for any spooky movie fan and just maybe a chance for some more extra entries.

Today's Trivia Question ~
Name all 12 of the 12 Days of Christmas items.

Yesterday's Question ~  Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer was a TV special released in 1964. 15 years before that, in 1949, it was a #1 hit song for Gene Autry. But Rudolph was originally created in 1939 by a major department store as a coloring book to be given away at Christmas time. Which department store was it?

Answer ~ Montgomery Wards was started in 1872 and sold goods through their stores and catalog until they went out of business in 2000.

I am a huge fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 so Santa Claus Conquers The Martians is a yearly tradition at my house. If you have not experience this gem yet I would recommend watching the MST3K version instead of the movie on it's own. It is bad, stupid and quite painful when watched on it's own but makes for a truly delightful experience when accompanied by priceless riffing and silly snarking courtesy of the MST3K gang. Besides, how could it be Christmas without Joel and the Bots singing "Let's have a Patrick Swayze Christmas"??? It makes me smile just thinking of it.

Stuffed Mushrooms
I like to make these for Thanksgiving or Christmas. They are so yummy!!! I do not really measure when I am cooking these so this is approximately.

20 Large white mushrooms
1/4 green pepper
6 green onions
6 large cloves garlic
1 small can chopped black olives
1 cup finely chopped bread or crushed bread crumbs
1 small block pepper jack cheese
butter

Wash mushrooms and gently pop out stems. Finely chop 5 stems, green pepper, green onions and garlic.
Mix with black olives and bread in large pan and saute with butter. Remove from heat and cool.
Grate cheese and stir 3/4 of it into mixture. Spoon mixture into mushroom caps. Top each with more cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes on a roaster pan.

Earn 10 Extra Entries ~ Submit Your Holiday Recipe.
Submit your own holiday recipe or craft how-to for an extra 10 entries in the giveaway. You will find the entry, with full details on how to submit the recipe, on the Rafflecopter widget on the main Giveaway Post. We will post submitted recipes daily.

Today we have a recipe submitted by Debra.
"One of my favorite things to make during the holidays is "Egg Nog French Toast". Hubby is NOT a "sweet" breakfast person. He doesn't like pancakes (The horror!) but he will eat these every year."
I don't really measure things... but here goes.
About a cup of Egg Nog (we buy ours - whichever brand you prefer)
1 egg
1 TBS sugar
1/2 teas cinnamon
1/4 teas nutmeg
Whisk all ingredients up, dip and coat your bread, cook on a griddle with a little butter.
Keep whisking up between each bread dip - the cinnamon and the nutmeg try to not mix in well.
"I enjoy mine with a little syrup or with cranberry jam. Ya know, holidays!"
