Laughing Vixen Lounge will be donating $2 from each Supernatural design and $1 from all other designs sold during the giveaway to help sponsor Tasha the Lynx from WildCat Haven. It takes $500 to sponsor one animal for a year. Since November 2013 Laughing Vixen Lounge has sponsored DJ the Cougar, Cha~Cha the Serval, Carrie the Caracal and Kujo the Bobcat. I too am a huge cat (animal) lover; was cool to learn about Saved By A Whisker Rescue. I actually grew up in Eagan, and I volunteered at a humane society in Burnsville when I was in middle school and again for a little bit in high school, I loved volunteering there but unfortunately it was not a no-kill shelter.
Right now I'm the lucky mom of Shadow -a stray that my dad used to feed in his back yard after her owners just up and left - and the love of my life, Zim (one of Shadows kittens) -my special needs kitty who was born with nerve damage to his spine so is incontinent and can't use his back legs. When I found him I was worried he might be a 2nd kitty from the litter that didn't make it, I had to pull him out from under the shed. He was pretty much like a rag doll. When I held him for the first time and looked into his big bright eyes I had a super cheesy moment and knew he was mine. We didn't know how to take care of him so we brought him to this amazing place, Gentle Touch Sanctuary in brooklyn park, they took care of him, and didn't give up on him, for a month then I was able to adopt him. He just turned 6 on May 6th.
